Report

The Dundalk Bulls won the Irish Ice Hockey Association inaugural InLIne Hockey Halloween Cup in 2011, defeating Hawks in the Final 8-1. Four teams were inlvolved in the first event of its kind hodted by Hawks in Athlone. Flyers IHC finished third with a close 7-6 win over fellow Dubliners, Dublin Rovers. The Group stage was very competitive with Hawks managing to tie with Dundalk Bulls and Dublin Rovers shocking Hawks in the opening match.

About the IIHA InLine Halloween Cup

The InLine Halloween Cup was hosted by Hawks InLine Hockey Club in Athlone in 2011 in conjunction with the Irish Ice Hockey Association. It was intended to become an annual tradition with the previous years’ winners hosting the event the following year.

Report

Kilkenny City Storm won the Inline Hockey Ireland Gold League South in 2013-14, with 10 wins and one tie from 14 matches, two points ahead of Galway Pitbulls and Galway Bay Lightning in second and third place. Longford Hawks, Cork Wolfpack, Kilkenny Bandits, Dun Dealgan Warriors and The Shadows HC made up the other five places.

Report

Round 3 of the Irish Ice Hockey Association Women’s InLine Hockey League took place at Little Island Sports Complex in Cork on Saturday 18th February 2012. Dundalk Bulls Ladies won all three of their matches, although two were by the odd goal. NIIHA (Northern Ireland Inline Hockey Association) managed two wins, hosts UCC Coconutters one win and Molly Malones lost all three matches although were competitive in two of them, losing by one goal to UCC and two to NIIHA.
