Report

The Scottish Men’s National team visited Northern Ireland for the first time in 10 years, winning a see-saw match 3 sets to 2. London-based Player/Coach of Northern Ireland, Dave Rivers & team Captain, Nick Wright of UUJ, worked tirelessly throughout, but the hosts fell 15-11 in the deciding set.

In the Under 18 Women’s International, Ireland were the visitors to UUJ, with Dubliners Lyndsey Condell & Aoife Carroll (Captain) providing excellent service. The hosts responded with some excellent blocking from Claire Hamilton & Chloe Walkinshaw, which produced an equaliser at 2-sets-each. Ireland’s Lyndsey Condell produced the boom-serves which swung it for the Southerners, taking the deciding set 15-5.
