The American Football League of 1934 was another league to take the AFL name. It consisted of teams based in the Southern States and was a Minor League though it played matches against touring NFL teams.
The St. Louis Blues (who moved to Kansas City late in the season after the St. Louis Gunners replaced the Cincinnati Reds late in the NFL season) won the title.
