Pembroke scored three goals in the first nine minutes to put this game beyond doubt early on. Alan Sothern score within the first minute with a one-touch shot, and Rob McCollum scored two soon after to make it 3-0. Jack Ryan made it 4-0 at half-time, before Glenanne got one back through Stephen Brownlow’s penalty corner. Harry Spain then made it five for Wanderers with his own penalty corner drag-flick, and Alan Sothern scored, yet again from a penalty corner, right on the buzzer, to make it 6-1. [4]
